Senforce VPN Enforcement ensures users always connect with an
authorized VPN-even at hotspots, enforcing encrypted transmission of
data and secure connection to the corporate network. |
The Senforce Endpoint Security Suite (ESS) addresses
endpoint security challenges through an integrated suite of
solutions based on Senforce's innovative Distributed Endpoint
Enforcement Platform (DEEP) architecture. DEEP combines multiple
driver-layer technologies (NDIS intermediate driver, file system
filter driver, TDI filter driver, and storage filter driver) with
application-layer solutions to provide multi-layered security
against all types of attacks.
The Senforce Endpoint Security Suite (ESS) simplifies endpoint
security by putting administrators in control, and combining 'point'
security solutions under a single, easy-to-use management console.
Advanced Firewall: the world's strongest, yet easiest to use,
firewall to protect against hackers, protocol attacks, and much
more, keeping security invisible to the end-user.
VPN Enforcement: ensures users always connect with a VPN-even
at hotspots. VPN Enforcement also prevents the use of split
tunneling.
Wi-Fi Connectivity Control: centrally controls when, how, and
where users are allowed to connect. Wi-Fi connectivity can be
limited to authorized and known access points, minimum encryption
strength, or can be disabled completely if necessary. SCC also
controls connectivity via LAN, modem, Bluetooth™, Infrared, 1394 (Firewire™),
and serial and parallel ports.
Theft Protection: prevents intentional or inadvertent
transmission of data, and protects sensitive information if a mobile
computer is lost or stolen.
Endpoint Integrity: ensures that all endpoint devices remain
compliant with corporate security policies at all times, through
enforcement of VPN, antivirus, anti-spyware usage, and patch
management.
Central Management and Reporting: provides a scalable and
simple method for creating, distributing, enforcing, and monitoring
security policies on endpoint devices, without forcing users to make
security decisions or adjust settings. |
Senforce Endpoint Security Suite's VPN Enforcement (SVE) allows
administrators to protect corporate data and assets both inside and outside
the corporate security perimeter. With advanced, patent-pending,
location-aware technology, SVE is enforced through highly customizable
security policies that are centrally managed, automatically distributed to
end-users, and continuously enforced-always and everywhere-without user
intervention.
SCC offers complete control over the users' Wi-Fi connectivity experience.
Its policy-based controls manage the usage of specific Wi-Fi network
adapters (including built-in wireless radios and wireless broadband cards),
prevent Wi-Fi connections to 'rogue' access points, and can disallow Wi-Fi
usage when users connect to a wired network. With SCC, telecommuters, day
extenders, and 'road warriors' enjoy the same high level of security
protection as users behind the corporate firewall, even when they connect
through an unmanaged network infrastructure or public access Wi-Fi hotspots.
The Senforce Wi-Fi Connectivity Controls features include:
Wi-Fi Connectivity Control -
Senforce's patent-pending AdapterAware™ technology provides security
administrators with full control over user Wi-Fi connectivity.
Administrators specify which, if any, Wi-Fi adapters can be used --limiting
use to a specific brand or type. This feature reduces IT support costs
associated with employees using unsupported hardware. AdapterAware can
entirely disable Wi-Fi adapters, or restricts Wi-Fi connectivity to
pre-defined locations. It also provides policy-based controls to globally
prevent and disable such 'at risk' networking behaviours as network adapter
bridging, wireless ad hoc connections, and Wi-Fi connectivity when the PC
has a wired connection.
Communication Hardware Control -SCC also controls network connectivity via LAN, modem, Bluetooth™, Infrared,
1394 (Firewire™), and serial and parallel ports, preventing unintended or
rogue access through these connection points. Each hardware type can be
enabled or disabled either globally or by location.
Access Point Control -
Senforce's patent-pending AccessAware™ technology controls Wi-Fi access
point connectivity by group and location, while preventing connections to
rogue access points. AccessAware enables security administrators to
automatically distribute and apply WEP and/or WPA pre-shared keys without
user intervention. Administrators can control key length --enforcing a
minimum crypto-strength for connectivity, and can even set signal strength
thresholds to manage AP switching.
Locations -
Patent-pending WhereAware technology adapts endpoint security protections as
users move from location to location either inside or outside of your
corporate security perimeter. Highly sensitive locations such as Work or
Headquarters can be cryptographically assured to make certain endpoint
security policies are applied in the right place and at the right time.
